About Thailand

Thailand is a large and geographical diverse country where anything is possible. From idyllic, unspoilt beaches with turquoise seas and pure, white sands to bustling cities sporting exotic markets and a vibrant colourfull nightlife, it is easy to see why Thailand has become one of the most popular tourist destinations for the adventurous and young hearted. Bangkok is definitely worthwhile whilst in Thailand. Visit ancient temples and wander around this spectacular cosmopolitan city and has attractions to stimulate even the most jaded travelers. More than anywhere else in the country, Bangkok expresses Thailand's uncanny ability to blend the old with the new. This lends a thrilling sense of discovery to one's sightseeing and adds an element of surprise when exploring what is the Orient's most fabled city. The size and geographical diversity of Thailand provides for a variety of activities. Hit the Andaman cost in the winter or visit Koh Samui in the summer if you want to chase the best rays, but anywhere anytime is fine. Even in the rainy season downpours are short and sharp and the sun soon quickly reappears. Snorkeling, diving and a host of water sports are very popular around the islands, while inland enthusiasts can trek into.

MuayThai Holidays can arrange your flights from any airport in the world on over 30 international airline carriers flying into Thailand and beyond.

So whether you are doing a multi stop within Thailand or just stopping over to your next destination, your flights can be arranged to suit your travel itinerary.

MuayThai Holidays have vast experience across Thailand. So if you have a budget to stick to or want to splash out and treat yourself to a luxury beach hotel with the family near a MuayThai gym to train or stay more at the camp to be part of the team  it can be done without any delay.

Our team have traveled extensively across Thailand and have tried and tested a lot of hotels and gyms.

There are two important aspects to take into account: the first being the weather, and the second being the difference between the ‘high’ season and the ‘low’ season. This determines how busy the MuayThai Gyms are.

Thailand has a tropical climate featuring three distinct seasons. In most areas, the hot season extends from March to May; the green season from June to October and the cool season from November to February. It is mild and sunny during the cool season with humidity being considerably lower than other times of the year. Average temperatures during this time of the year range between 35.5° Centigrade (96° Fahrenheit) to 16° Centigrade (62° Fahrenheit) with clear skies and light breezes. This provides great conditions. The cool season is the peak tourist season and accommodation and the gyms can be busy, especially in the more populated areas. During the hot season, which begins in April, day-time temperatures can reach 40° Centigrade (104°Fahrenheit). However the increase in temperature is quite gradual so conditions remain quite pleasant. At the peak of the season, hot dry weather prevails throughout Thailand. The best time to train during should be early in the morning, or after lunchtime, hence avoiding the hottest part of the day. Most rain falls during the green season from June to September. While intermittent showers or thunderstorms occur at various times of the day, it is perhaps the driest rainy period of any country in Southeast Asia with plenty of sunshine. It is possible to train practically everyday as rain showers tend to be brief and courses dry quickly.
