MuayThai is an ancient martial art which has been practiced among the brave men of Siam, now known as Thailand, for centuries. MuayThai is also known the art of 8 limbs in coordination with body parts which act like weapons such as hands, shins, knees and elbows. MuayThai is not about violence and aggression; its more about self-defense. Some people also practice MuayThai as a way to slim down, burn calories, build strength or just to de-stress.
MuayThai can be taught at any age and whatever level of fitness you are. Depending on what your goals are, your trainer at the camp will bring the best out of you by teaching you what you need every step of the way. So if you want to get fit or better your fighting skills for the ring they can advise accordingly.
When you do visit the camp you will see lots of different types of people from all walks of life. At times you might see little kids kicking about on the bags too.
